Trisco of Force MDs Dies of Cancer

RadioOnFire.com - Trisco Pearson of the legendary R&B group Force MDs died of Stage 4 cancer on Friday.
The singer resided in Staten Island, New York and is the fourth member of the group to pass away. His family released a statement on Facebook about Pearson and his battle with the disease. “It is with the deepest regret that we announce that One of Our own Trisco Pearson Of The Beloved Group, The Force M.D.’s has passed and finally went home with no more pain. Trisco was truly our Brother, coming from Staten Island, New York to transport talents that reached around the world. We will miss him but know he joins our Brothers TCD and Mercury on the Heavenly concert stages.”
The group released their debut album with Tommy Boy Records back in 1984. That had a slew of hits in the 1980s and worked with legendary producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. They topped the R&B charts with their 1987 hit “Love is a House.” The group lost 4 of its members in the 1990s and released its last album with the original line-up in 1994. Their final project dropped in 2000 and only featured the surviving members that included Pearson.
