Bobby Shmurda Says He'll Be Out of Prison in Three Years

RadioOnFire.com - Bobby Shmurda is in good spirits after copping a plea and getting 7 years prison.
The young Brooklyn rapper showed off his positive attitude during a phone call released online where he says he'll be out in less than half of that time. “I’m talking to big bro Trav right now. Ya’ll already know what time it is. GS9 it’s the f**kin takeover. Imma be home in 3,” he said. “We still got money man. Make sure you go check my restaurant too. 94th and Rutland. Pass through and check the restaurant out. I’ll be home soon. Ya heard.” Shmurda is laughing during the call.
Shmurda was facing a 25 to life sentence for conspiracy and weapons charges. He pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and one count of criminal possession of a weapon. The rapper claimed the gun in question was a prop for a music video. Shmurda along with 15 other members of his GS9 crew were arrested and charged with crimes. Rashid Derissant, 24, was sentenced to 98 years with another member named Alex Crandon getting 53 and a half. Other members Chad Marshall and Nicholas McCoy also took plea deals.
