Kendrick Lamar Performing at Obama's 4th of July White House BBQ

RadioOnFire.com - The Obama administration has had some interesting programming for holidays, and now it continues on with musical sets by Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monáe to honor military heroes and their families for Independence Day. Kendrick Lamar's appearance at the White House should be of no surprise, as President Obama told People Magazine that Lamar's joint "How Much A Dollar Cost" was his favorite track of 2015. On the flipside, Monáe took part in Michelle Obama's "Let Girls Learn" initiative, even recording a song for the program.
The White House issued a statement, saying “White House staff and their families from throughout the administration will also attend this event for the fireworks viewing, There will also be a performance on Monday evening by fellow Kansas Citian Janelle Monáe and Kendrick Lamar.”
