It was a strange thing to say during a night honoring Kanye, but just giving the introduction speaks volumes given their history. An honorary video also aired featuring Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Common, and Kim Kardashian.
The Legendary Chicago rapper took a slight jab at Dame during his own speech, saying, “I understand how it feels to be humbled.” Like any of his on stage rants, the rest of the speech was filled with quotables, including a line about his wife dating broke, black guys. He even took a selfie with Dame and his daughter afterward, which means their beef isn’t too real. The BET Honors airs Feb. 29th
