Suge Knight Emotional During 1st Court Appearance For Robbery. Bail Set At $500K

Suge Knight made his first appearance in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday, November 5, to surrender in a robbery case. The record executive is facing 30 years to life for allegedly stealing a photographer's camera in September. Prior to yesterday's court appearance Knight had been jailed in Las Vegas, where he was arrested on Wednesday, October 29.

Judge Keith Schwartz was sympathetic to the former Death Row Records CEO's situation. Because the D.A. had already filed charges Schwartz was unable to cut Suge a break, but he did tell him he understood that some members of the paparazzi can be unethical.
At one point Knight appeared close to tears. He was taken into custody with his bail set as $500,000.
