The 2014 “White Tie Affair” took place Sunday, June 8th
at the North Baltimore Plaza Hotel (formerly Crowne Plaza). The highly
anticipated, 10th annual event, is the creation of the popular
Baltimore based party network; The Flywire.
I have covered several “White Party” events for The Diamond
K Show and I have always been impressed with the sheer size and magnitude of
the event. There are so many moving parts to bring a party together normally,
let alone one of this size. As always, The Flywire has done it again! The North
Baltimore Plaza Hotel has a four-story atrium with 11,00 sq. feet; 3 ballrooms;
full restaurant; and outdoor lounge with Tiki Bar and pool, with people
partying in every room. DJ Quicksilva, Mr. Incredible and Supa DJ Big L provided
the music to the “White Tie Affair”, keeping the people excited and dancing.

I enjoy "White Tie Events" because people tend to be very creative with their outfits. There is always so much to see. RadioOnFire’s brand new show, ‘Shugga Mama Radio’ features Shamika
Shantel, Chenelle Nicole and Biddy. The team was there, in the thick of things,
to give viewers a look at the celebrated Flywire event. Although the vibe was a bit different than normal, I still enjoyed myself.

It was great to see so many other entertainers and promoters
out to show support for The Flywire (who
turned 12 this year). DNA from 66 Raw was there and kept the media room
rocking with raw uncut hip hop. (rapper) D Boi da Dome, DJ Lil Mic, DJ Manny,
DJ Eric B, (DJ)Da Chosen One, DJ Sean Marshall, Jon Cash (Cashland), Kleon the Comedian, RK Jewelers,
(promoters) Oval Office, (actor) Parris Watkins, (actress) Stephanie K. Randall
and (eye candy model) Kristina Divine were just a few of the many entertainment
elite in attendance.

(Luv Ya)” and came pass the media room for an interview with Shugga Mama Radio.

Congratulations to Marcy (The
Flywire), Phil (TFP) and the rest
of their team. Your hard work in presenting an exclusive, indoor/outdoor event,
to attract Baltimore’s Who’s Who’s, trendsetters and professionals was a huge
success!
