Whitney Houston's Family Wants To Stop Lifetime's Biopic Because They Believe The Singer Deserves More Than A TV Movie

It was announced last week that Lifetime was shooting a biopic about late music icon Whitney Houston. The movie is being directed by Angela Bassett.
According to TMZ, Houston's family is not thrilled with the idea and are thinking about filing a lawsuit to stop the movie from airing.
I am not sure why they are acting like this, there can be more than one movie about Whitney.

They believe the singer who sold over 200 million records worldwide and won two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards and 22 American Music Awards deserves a bigger platform for her life's story.
"Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie," said Pat Houston. "If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening."

Whitney passed away on February 11, 2012 at the age of 48.
