Viacom & BET Sued By Man Who Was Shot At 2011 BET Awards After Party

A man shot at the official BET Awards after party in 2011 is suing the cable network and it's parent company Viacom.
In a new lawsuit filed by Antwon Black, he alleges that while attending the party at the Compound Nightclub in 2011, he was shot in the leg.

Black says a patron got past the security check with a gun and shot him in the leg. Black is suing the owner of Compound, Viacom and BET for failing to keep the club safe.
Viacom has not commented on the lawsuit. No word on how much money Black is seeking.
