Rich Homie Quan is the latest big name from Rich Gang, and he was invited to sit down with Karen Civil for her Civil TV series, to check out what it’s like in his everyday life. In this episode, the “Walk Thru” rapper chops it up with friends, travels through ATL, dips in and out of the studio, tells us about his life and relationships, and chats about his upcoming mixtape.
In regards to his new music projects:
“I wanted to get fans acquainted with who Rich Homie Quan is, and where he wants to go, and what I want out of music.”
Quan reveals that he is about 60% done with his new album, and lets us know that he some dope features on it, such as: Drake, Boosie, Young Thugger and others have features on it.
Speaking on his close friendship with rapper Young Thug, he explains:
“That’s a real friendship. That’s my brother. The social network they can misconstrue things, but at the same time, me as an artist, I never let that deteriorate my mind or get to me because you’re going to think what you want to think.”
He shares the story on losing contact with Birdman after meeting him, and how Young Thug was the reason that they got back into contact to establish the relationship they have today. Apparently, the two talked to each other twice a day – EVERY DAY!
