Louis Farrakhan Offers Beyonce Fruit Of Islam Protection After Miami Police Boycott

If the police fail to protect Beyonce on her upcoming "Formation World Tour" in the wake of Super Bowl 50 performance criticism from Rudy Guiliani and Javier Oritz, the President of The Miami Fraternal Order Police, calling for law enforcement nationwide to boycott her shows, she won't have to worry.

During a fiery sermon in Detroit on Sunday, February 21, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan vowed to provide the singer with safekeeping from the Fruit of Islam.

"Guiliani said, 'On the greatest platform in the world, the Super Bowl.' She started talking that black stuff. And white folks were like, 'We don't know how to deal with that.' Well, you taught us everywhere we went about the Holocaust," Farrakhan said. "But we have sympathy for you. But when one of us shows independence ... look at how you're treating Beyonce now. You gon' picket? You're not gonna offer her police protection? But the FOI will."

As we previously reported, the firestorm around Beyonce's salute to the Black Panther Party during her performance at Super Bowl 50, has led to some saying she was anti-police.

“I thought that it was really outrageous she used it as a platform to attack police officers, who are the people who protect her and protect us and keep us alive,” Giuliani said on Fox News. “And what we should be doing, in the African-American community and in all communities, is build up respect for police officers and focus on the fact that when something does go wrong, OK, we’ll work on that.”

The singer's music video for the song "Formation," in which she celebrates her heritage and tackles police brutality, has also drawn the ire of critics.

One Dead In Crash That Shuts Down Route 50

RadioOnFire.com - A fatal accident has shut down U.S. Route 50 near Cape St. Claire Road, and officials say much of  the roadway will remain closed throughout the morning.

Police say a tractor trailer overturned in the eastbound lanes at around 2:30 this morning.  The truck driver was killed.

WBAL-TV reports that the driver lost control of the truck and it flipped over.  The truck was carrying milk products.

The Maryland State Highway Administration says as of 9:30 a.m., one lane of the highway is open in each direction around Cape St. Claire Road.

Officials say motorists can used College Parkway or Whitehall Road as a detour.

Bankruptcy Judge Wants 50 Cent Back In Court To Explain Piles Of Cash On Instagram

RadioOnFire.com - Judge Ann Nevins wants 50 Cent back in court to explain the piles of cash the Hip Hop mogul posted in his personal Instagram page to see if Mr. Jackson is being totally straight forward about his financial situation. 50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, filed for bankruptcy in July 2015.

One of his photos shows him sitting down next to what appears to stacks of $100 bills spelling out the word “BROKE.” Also, according to recent Twitter posts on Fif’s page, he also recently bought a house in Africa.

“I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case,”

Judge Nevins told his lawyers during a hearing on Thursday in Hartford, Connecticut. “There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.”

The day after declaring bankruptcy, he posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: “Times are hard out here LMAO,” along with a tiny Smart Car.

6 Dead In Michigan Shooting Spree; Gunman Arrested.

RadioOnFire.com - Another shooting spree has occured. What is going on in the world? This one is taking place in Michigan and isn’t over yet. Undersheriff Paul Matyas told CNN that at least six people were killed Saturday during a shooting spree in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. A total of nine people were shot, 6 dead, 2 in critical condition and one in serious condition.

Jason Brian Dalton was arrested after randomly shooting and killing six people. The shootings occurred in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The murders were considered to be random murders.

Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas released a statement saying,

“There is no connection between any of them, this all appears to be random. This is the worst-case scenario that any community can have.”

The first of the shooting took place around 6PM. Dalton continued the killings for about 4 hours. The last two shootings occurred at a Cracker Barrel and Kia car dealership which resulted in 4 dead and 2 injured. Dalton is looking at several first-degree murder and attempted murder charges. This is such a sad and tragic incident. What would drive a person to just go out and kill for no reason?

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush has announced that he dropped out if the Republican race for US president after failing to rank high in the first three state primaries. He came a distant fourth in Saturday’s South Carolina vote, which was won by billionaire estate mogul Donald Trump. He said “Today I am suspending my campaign,” to a crowd of his supporters who were very emotional.

“The people from Iowa, South Carolina and New Hampshire have spoken, and I really respect their decision. I’ve got an incredible life and for me, public service has been the highlight of this life.”

He said that in reference to his poor performance in the three states that have already held their presidential primaries and caucuses.

Jeb Bush, the son of former President George HW Bush and brother to former President George W Bush, failed to translate huge funds and Republican donations into votes. He was overtaken in the polls by Mr Trump and Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

Harford County Honors Deputy First Class Mark Logsdon

Gov. Larry Hogan and others paid tribute to a slain Harford County sheriff's deputy who is being laid to rest. 

Funeral services were held Saturday morning in a packed APG Arena at Harford Community College for Deputy First Class Mark Logsdon.

Thousands gathered Saturday morning in Bel Air to hear stories and fond memories honoring Logsdon.

Funeral services began at 10 a.m. as speakers remembered Logsdon's commitment to the community, his volunteerism and his great smile.

Clinton Wins In Nevada; GOP Voting In SC

RadioOnFire.com - Hillary Clinton soared to victory in Nevada's Democratic caucuses Saturday, overcoming an unexpectedly strong surge by Bernie Sanders and potentially easing the anxiety of some of her supporters.

Clinton captured the backing of voters who said electability and experience were important in their vote. But in a continuing sign of her vulnerability, Sanders did best with voters looking for a candidate who is caring and honest.

The polling of voters was voters conducted for The Associated Press and the television networks by Edison Research as voters arrived at 25 randomly selected caucus sites.

The contest in Nevada was the first of two presidential primary contests being held Saturday. Republicans were battling in South Carolina, a state seen as billionaire Donald Trump's to lose and one that could start to clarify who, if any, of the more mainstream candidates might emerge to challenge him.

For both parties, the 2016 election has laid bare voters' frustration with Washington and the influence of big money in the political system. The public mood has upended the usual political order, giving Sanders and Trump openings while leaving more traditional candidates scrambling to find their footing.

Clinton's victory in Nevada could be crucial in holding off a challenge from Sanders that has been tougher than almost anyone expected. Clinton and Sanders split the first two voting contests, revealing the Vermont senator's appeal with young people drawn to his impassioned calls for breaking up Wall Street banks and providing free tuition at public colleges and universities.

According to the entrance polls of voters, Clinton was backed by a majority of women, college-educated voters, those with annual incomes over $100,000, moderates, voters aged 45 and older and non-white voters. Sanders did best with men, voters under 45 and those less affluent and educated.

Republicans were voting in South Carolina, the first Southern state in the 2016 presidential election. Trump spent the week threatening one rival with a lawsuit, accusing former President George W. Bush of lying, and even tangling with Pope Francis on immigration, yet he still entered the primary contest in strong position.

The prospect of a Trump win alarmed rival Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor trying mightily for a strong showing in the first Southern state to vote.

"Trump can't win, plain and simple," Bush told reporters outside a polling place in Greenville. "A ton of people would be very uncomfortable with his divisive language and with his inexperience in so many ways."

A Trump victory could foreshadow a solid performance in the collection of Southern states that vote on March 1. Victories in those Super Tuesday contests could put the billionaire in a commanding position in the delegate count, which determines the nomination.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz banked on a well-regarded get-out-the-vote operation and 10,000 volunteers to help overtake Trump on Saturday, as well as in the Southern states that follow.

A failure to top Trump in South Carolina could puncture that strategy, though Cruz, who sidetracked briefly to Washington to attend the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's funeral Mass, will still have more than enough money to run a long campaign.

Marco Rubio and Bush were fighting to establish themselves as credible alternatives to Trump and Cruz, candidates some GOP leaders believe are unelectable in November.

Neither Bush nor Rubio expected to win South Carolina. But they wanted to finish ahead of one another; otherwise, there would be tough questions about long-term viability.

Rubio scored the endorsements of several prominent South Carolina politicians, including Gov. Nikki Haley, and seemed to have rebounded after a dismal debate performance two weeks ago.

Teacher Jason Sims of Mount Pleasant went for Rubio in a last-minute decision and said Haley's announcement was "a big deal."

"I was kind of riding the fence," Sims said. "I trust her."

Bush hoped his deep family ties to South Carolina - his brother and father each won two primaries here - would be a lifeline for his struggling campaign.

Also in the mix was Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who had low expectations in South Carolina. He was looking toward more moderate states that vote later in March. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson had a small but loyal cadre of followers.

Democrats and Republicans will swap locations in the coming days. The GOP holds its caucus in Nevada on Tuesday, while Democrats face off in South Carolina on Feb. 27.
