Some White People are Boycotting Netflix Over 'Dear White People' Series

RadioOnFire.com - With all the racial tension now—and throughout American history—Netflix has decided to take a more theatrical action while calling out some of the overtly racially insensitive white folks. Whether some excuse discriminatory behavior such as: "I didn't know that was racist" or "My best friend is Black," the series replicates Justin Simien's film into a Netflix original series, which premieres April 28.

With that being said, during Trump times, there was an immediate backlash with some Netflix subscribers boycotting the streaming service. Within the first day of the trailer's release, it was viewed for more than 530,000 times. In response to the boycott, Simien told ET, Thursday [Feb. 9], "For me, it was really profound, encouraging in a weird way." He said, "It just brought more attention to the series. Thanks, white supremacists, you really helped me promote my show." Jokingly adding, "I'm a little grateful, I guess, to the insanity."

Oh, also, the show does call out African Americans and some of the internal issues within their community. So watch before judging.

Nelly on Patriots Skipping White House: I Love Tom Brady, But He Started This

RadioOnFire.com - During a recent sit-down on FOX Sports 1’s “Undisputed” with Skip Bayless, Nelly shed light on the double standard of some Patriots players skipping out on the White House visit following their Super Bowl win. Some people are angry that Martellus Bennett, Devin McCourty, Dont’a Hightower and Chris Long aren't going to the White House, but this much pressure wasn't put on Tom Brady when he skipped out on visiting Obama last year.
Nelly explained that he feels like Tom Brady gave his teammates permission to opt out of the White House visit when he did so in 2015. He told Bayless, “You didn’t make the vote when Tom Brady — when the head of your team decided that he wasn’t going to come … if he’s not going, he’s the captain. He’s the head. He already decided. He opened this box up. Tom Brady started this. He started it. Let’s just get it out of the bag, and I’m not faulting him because I love Tom Brady, but he started it.”

Drake and Jennifer Lopez Split After 2 Months

RadioOnFire.com - Apparently Drake's romance with Jennifer Lopez wasn't meant to last forever. The hip-hop star and JLo ended their whirlwind relationship after less than two months of dating, Us Weekly reports.

The star-powered duo is done "for now," a source told the magazine, but added it's likely Drake will attempt to rekindle the flame next month after he returns to Los Angeles following his ongoing European tour.

Another insider seconded this, adding that things just "died down a bit" between the two stars.
Lopez, 47, was first linked to the 30-year-old "Forever" rapper in December, and they seemed to confirm things when they each posted a cozy Instagram photo showing them cuddled up to each other.

They rang in the New Year a few days later at the Las Vegas nightclub Hakkasan — where Drake performed earlier in the evening — and reportedly left holding hands.

But they haven't been spotted together publicly for a while, and Lopez posted a cryptic Instagram message earlier in the week that some have speculated is about Drake.

"Timing is everything," the post reads. "If it's meant to happen, it will, and for the right reasons."

Both stars were coming off recent breakups when they began their relationship late last year. Lopez split with choreographer Casper Smart in August, while Drake and Rihanna ended things in October — mere weeks after the rapper professed his love for the pop star at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Drake Allegedly Calls Muslim Fan's Hijab "Hot A** Scarf", Receiving Backlash

RadioOnFire.com - A few days after saying "F*ck Donald Trump" and stressing unity while on his Boy Meets World tour, Jewish rapper Drake is under fire from some of his Muslim fans after a video surfaced of Drake allegedly telling an unidentified fan to remove her hijab:
“You got on that hot ass scarf right there, you might wanna take this off. You gotta turn the f*ck up. You gon have to come out that sh*t.”
The word "hijab" was never said so it is not clear whether or not the 6 God was referring to a Muslim fan, and the video does not support the allegations either. Should Drake apologize? Or is this a case of miscommunication? Let us know in the comments.

Joe Budden Says Nicki, Wayne and Drake's Careers Are All Hurting

RadioOnFire.com - The nerve of some people. Joe Budden believes a Young Money reunion will be very helpful to the careers of Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. The New Jersey spitter said that all three of them could use a boost in their careers right now on his podcast this week. Budden believes all three are hurting and even argued with his co-hosts about Drake's failure to put out a monster hit for his upcoming "More Life" project. He joked about what he calls the tanking of Drake's "Fake Love" record and how whack Nicki's bars have become. Strange thou, all the artist he mentioned have achieved more musical success than Joe Budden; so just how valuable are his assessments really?
