RadioOnFire.com - Drake continued along his star-studded Summer Sixteen Tour in the Motor City on Tuesday night [August 16], when he was joined on stage by perhaps the biggest show-stopper of them all.
“Detroit, make some noise for the greatest rapper that ever get on a mother****ing microphone,” he hollered over the raucous crowd, before bowing at the feet of Eminem himself. Fans attending the show at Joe Louis Arena were surprised by their hometown G.O.A.T., when he erected through a trap door, with his back to the crowd. He was right on time to contribute his featured appearance, with Drake having brought the "Forever" remix back for the special moment. "It's an honor to share the stage with this man right here," Em replied in kind.
Drake has made it a point to bring out some of the biggest artists of each town he has touched down in on the road, bringing fans a list of cameos that has thus far included Rihanna, Kanye West, Lebron James, Dipset, Terror Squad and more. But Drake's appearance can be said to be most relevant at the moment, considering the buzz that has been generated since Hot 97 morning show host, Ebro, teased listeners with a joke which implied that the two were potentially bound for an impending battle. That one comment set off the rumor mill, leading to blogs feeding off of the false prospect of beef, even after Ebro admitted that he had manufactured the innuendo.
