Safaree Says Meek Mill Played a Role in His Breakup with Nicki Minaj

RadioOnFire.com - Safaree recently admitted that Meek Mill played a role in his breakup with long-time girlfriend, Nicki Minaj.

The reality-tv star recently spoke with Rap-Up where he said Meek helped cause a rift between the two. “He definitely was a big part as to why me and Nicki broke up,” he said. Meek’s involvement in their break-up became apparent after The Game threw shade at the Philly rapper for face-timing with another man’s girl while they were still together. “NOW TELL THE WORLD HOW YOU GOT YO BITCH. YOU FACETIMED NICKI WHILE @iamsafaree WAS F**KIN A CHICK!!!!!,” Game wrote on Instagram. Safaree even commented on the post saying “Honestly I should thank him.”

Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj have been an item for a little over a year. Their relationship became public shortly after her break-up with Safaree in 2015. At the time, Minaj seemed heart-broken over it and cried about it during Angie Martinez’s show on Power 105.1. Safaree appears to take it as an opportunity to advance his career. He started doing interviews about it and even landed a role on “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood.”
