RadioOnFire.com - Bill Cosby has remained tight-lipped, revealing just enough of his emotions about rape allegations, it took his wife and his daughter some time to speak out and now, the women we were looking to hear from has something to say. Phylicia Rashad comes clean about her feelings on Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson claiming that good ol’ Bill drugged and raped them.
For the obvious reason (credibility), when Janice Dickinson and Beverly Johnson opened up about claims of sexual assault from Bill Cosby, things got a little bit more real. Johnson has remained positive that she made the right move with coming clean.
“All I know is that for me, it was the right thing to do. I saw a number of courageous women come forward and I did what I thought was right.” Phylicia Rashad is saying she doesn’t care who it is, they’re telling a big ol’ lie. “Oh please,” she tells Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411.
“Someone is determined to keep Bill Cosby off TV,” says Rashad. “And it’s worked. All his contracts have been cancelled.” She went on to elaborate, saying “This show represented America to the outside world. This was the American family. And now you’re seeing it being destroyed. Why?”
Rashad not only has Bill’s back, but she’s speaking up for Camille Cosby as well. “This is a tough woman, a smart woman. She’s no pushover.”
