Hip hop fans can get ready to hear two of the best emcees in the history of the game collaborate for the first time when LL Cool J releases his forthcoming album, G.O.A.T. 2, in 2015.
During a recent sit down with Rap-Up, the Queens, New York legend revealed he has a collaboration with Eminem on deck.
"Me and Em have a song. He just recently let me hear his verse. It's just crazy," LL said. "He's chainsawing s***. I think people are gonna be pleasantly surprised when they hear me and him on a record together."
LL promised that this album is for the culture and a return to the essence of hip hop. In addition to Slim Shady, T.I. will also be featured, along with some of the younger generations hottest spitters like Fred The Godson.
"I got a lot of young gunners on this album," LL told Rap-Up. "People that are hungry and want to make the best music. It's about the beats and the bars and the rhymes. It's about being current and fresh and riveting -- not a bunch of old tired 95 nugget ring b*******. It's newness."
