RadioOnFire.com - Today (Mar. 9) is the 20th anniversary of the death of the legendary Notorious B.I.G. People often wonder how hip hop would be different if Biggie was still around, and the creation of "The Commission" remains on top of the "What if?" list. The supergroup included Big, Jay Z, Lil Cease, Puff Daddy now known as Diddy, Charli Baltimore, and producer Lance "Un" Rivera. During an interview with Hot 97, Cease discussed the biggest rap group that never came to fruition.
Cease says they never really got a chance to actually put anything together as a group due to scheduling conflicts mostly between Biggie and Hov. Big was finishing up his second album Life After Death and was helping Puff with his project as well. So, unfortunately, not one song was created.
