RadioOnFire.com - For a long time now, many people have excused Kanye West’s bizarre behavior as “Ye just being Ye”. Whether it’s him snatching microphones during awards shows, fighting paparazzi, loud outbursts during radio interviews, or his weird obsession with Jay Z, Kanye West is a walking blog post headline.
Although he dabbles in sneaker and fashion design; his bread and butter has always been music. However, his recent series of on-stage outbursts, US tour cancellation and subsequent hospitalization for ‘dehydration’ reeks of drug use or mental instability to say the least.
We attributed him interjecting in the MTV Music Awards “on behalf of Beyonce” to grief from losing his mother. Some of his other behavior may be the result of a spoiled ‘mama’s boy’ having a temper tantrum because he has a wife that is more famous then him. However, how long will his fans deal with abbreviated concerts, cancellations and sub-par music? Kanye West may always have a core group of die hard fans but if this unpredictable, foolishness continues ‘The College Dropout’ may go from selling out stadiums to filling small lounges. Get yourself together Mr. West – and get back to making “’G.O.O.D. Music, (in my Drake voice).
