RadioOnFire.com - If Peyton Manning is on the Denver Broncos roster as of March 9th, the team will owe him about $19 million dollars for next season. Considering he didn’t look great in the playoffs and is still reportedly undecided about his retirement, the team likely has no choice but to cut him and they have made their own decision to move forward with Brock Osweiler.
The Broncos have offered Osweiler a three-year contract proposal that is worth more than $45 million, NFL sources told 9NEWS.

The four-year pro has seven career starts, all coming during the 2015 regular season after he took over for Peyton Manning.
Osweiler can become an unrestricted free agent at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The market begins with a “soft” opening Monday where free agents can talk to other teams to gage interest and their value.
With other teams expected to be interested in Osweiler, the Broncos wanted to make the first move. If they want him they may have to come up on their offer somewhat but it is clear the Peyton Manning era is over in Denver, one way or another.
