Turk Sues Cash Money Records For $1.3 Million
RadioOnFire.com - Another artist who helped to lay the foundation for Cash Money Records has filed a lawsuit against the label.
Turk, a former member of the Hot Boys, is taking Birdman and Slim to court in an attempt to collect money he was allegedly cheated out of.
TMZ reports that the lawsuit states that Cash Money never provided Turk with an accounting of the money he earned while on the label. He is asking a judge to award him at least $1.3 million in damages plus the rights to all of his masters.
This is the second lawsuit filed by an artist against Cash Money in just over a week. Lil Wayne is seeking $51 million and a release from his contract.
