RadioOnFire.com - A couple days ago Top Rank promoter Bob Arum said talks between Manny Pacquiao’s camp and Floyd Mayweather’s camp have stalled. Arum said Paquiao agreed to all of Mayweather’s demands including fight location, date, ring walks, financial splits and more. Arum said every time they drew up a contract, Mayweather would send a revised one. It was also reported that the talks were stalled because CBS/Showtime has Mayweather under contract and Time Warner/HBO is Pacquiao’s exclusive network and they hadn’t come to an agreement on the joint telecast. As I reported, Floyd Mayweather often points out that Arum is a liar and always makes him out to be the bad guy. Well low and behold, today Mayweather posts a picture of him and Pacquiao meeting with each other, not reps, and said it’s not him holding up the fight.
Since Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao finally met face-to-face and exchanged numbers at the Miami Heat game, they no longer have to go through each other’s camps. Hopefully they’re able to get the deal done working directly with each other.
Mayweather also says to download the app Shots, which is where he will most likely make the announcement if the fight will or won’t happen.
Sidenote: If you’re wondering why Mayweather puts everything on that app, it’s because he’s the co-owner.
