Chris Brown Restrained By Handcuffs, Ankle & Waist Chains & Put On Con Air Flight To Washington, D.C.

Chris Brown is on a flight to Washington, D.C., where his attorney, Mark Geregos, will attempt to persuade a judge to dismiss the assault charges against his client because he believes prosecutors inappropriately used the grand jury to gain an unfair advantage in the criminal case.

The case will be heard on Monday, April 7, which will give Chris just enough time to arrive. The singer was restrained with handcuffs as well as ankle and waist chains today and placed on board the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS), or Con Air as it is commonly called.

The flight will make numerous stops along the way to pick up other prisoners. It's not expected to arrive in D.C. until Sunday, April 6.

TMZ reports that if Geregos' arguments falls on deaf ears Monday, Chris will have to sit in a D.C. jail until the April 17 trial date. The singer has been in an L.A. jail since being kicked out of court ordered anger management rehab on March 14.
