RadioOnFire.com - This past weekend, Remy Ma dropped "Shether," her devastating Nicki Minaj diss track, and the hip hop world continues to wait for Nicki's response.
In the meantime, Remy is reminding Nicki, and us, just how well the track is doing on the charts. "shETHER #5 on US rap charts," Remy wrote on social media, "But we all know that the Charts & Numbers don't matter...it's about them #BARZ." She then returned to Instagram when the track moved up a few places: "shETHER #2. See, this why u shouldn't base ya life around this," Remy jabbed.
RadioOnFire.com - Remy Ma released her seven-minute Nicki Minaj diss track "ShETHER" then wasted no time performing it in Pennsylvania during the first stop of the Filthy America … It's Beautiful tour. The Lox tour also includes Lil Kim and Cardi B.
It's no secret that Kim is also an enemy of Nicki Minaj, and during her set, she announced a collab with her and Remy is coming soon. The track apparently won't be the ladies double-teaming Minaj, Kim said it might be like another "Ladies Night," which featured other female rappers, Da Brat, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, Angie Martinez, and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.
RadioOnFire.com - The hip hop world continues to react to "Shether," Remy Ma's scathing diss track directed at Nicki Minaj. Hot 97's Funk Flex, one of hip hop's most prominent voices, chimed in with his opinion of Remy's song, noting that several of her punchlines were "below the belt," and warning Drake to stay out of the developing beef before he gets flamed by Remy too. "Drake, I'd mind your business. Don't let Remy flame you out here."
RadioOnFire.com - A good battle is one of the great things about hip-hop! When two artist decide to settle things with carefully crafted wordplay. That feeling you get when everyone is talking about that new diss song and wondering when and if the response will come, that is where we are now with Remy vs Nicki Minaj.
The beef had been rumbling under the surface, but now it has exploded like a volcano! They both have sent little subliminals in songs here and there. However, after a few lines from Nicki Minaj sparked a jaw-dropping response from Remy Ma that left nothing to the imagination that war is on. All eyes are on Nicki Minaj for her reaction.
The battle is far from over thou folks. Let's keep in mind we all thought Nas was over after Jay Z dropped "Takeover" and then boom "Ether" came. So let's have fun listening to Remy's "Shether" but expect a Nicki Minaj version of "Takeover" or something to come soon. The advantage is always with the person who goes second because they can answer all charges.
RadioOnFire.com - Gucci Mane just released a new single, "Make Love", featuring Nicki Minaj, on Thursday, which he promised fans would be "the hardest song of the year." On the track, Nicki spits a few bars aimed towards a nameless female rapper. "You see silly rabbit, to be the queen of rap / you got to sell records, you got to get plaques/ 's' plural, like the 'S' on my chest / now sit your dumb ass down, you got a 'F' on ya test," she asserts.
The lines have many speculating it's a shot at Remy Ma, who's been burning up the charts since her release from prison last year. However, Remy Ma recently denied having issues with Nicki on Power 105.1's, The Breakfast Club, saying, "If you look at the history of Remy Ma, whenever I’ve had a problem with any female in the entire game, I will say your name."
This is the first joint release from Gucci and Minaj since 2010's, "Haterade".

RadioOnFire.com - 2017 won't be as easy as Plies set out for it to be, as it is reported that his driver's license has been suspended for 1 year.
The Fort Myers rapper faces charges in connection with a January arrest for DUI. A dash cam recording of him being detained recently surfaced to show Plies complying with police as they went into his pockets and he confided in having been in possession of a registered fire arm. The footage was taken moments after officers cited the rapper zooming in the wrong direction down a one-way street.
It remains to be seen how Plies will adapt to being without a ride, as the driver's seat is what has coincidentally helped him drive his marketing. Followers on Instagram have come to acquaint the chatty Floridian with his regular posting of witty videos from behind the wheel.
The state's decision to revoke the rapper's license comes as a formality which establishes that citizens automatically forfeit their driving privileges when they refuse breath, urine or blood testing for alcohol. Plies reportedly turned down a Breathalyzer test during his arrest.

RadioOnFire.com - Charles Oakley addressed the question as to whether he believes James Dolan is racist on two different occasions on Thursday, February 16. And while he wouldn't outright attach the label to him, neither would he rule it out, affirming in one interview that he sees the New York Knicks owner on the same "level" as embattled former L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling. He also backtracked from suggesting that he knows him to be a racist, but still citing that he's "heard stuff," in a later interview.
"He's a control freak. He's got everybody in the Garden on pins and needles. The other owners know this, that's the bad thing about it ... They're going to let this end up happening like something that happened to the LA Clippers. It's that bad, but they won't talk about it. It's that bad," Oakley told Sports Illustrated's Maggie Gray. Gray then pushed referenced Sterling, who fans will recall having been forced to sell the Clippers after he was recorded making racist statements in 2014. And Oakley responded to her inquiry into whether he would compare the two owners by saying, "He's on the level. I mean, you can build a house, or you can build a pyramid. And this man has been around for a long time; I ain't heard nothing good about him."
Soon after the SI interview, TMZ caught up with Oakley, and he was again asked whether he sees Dolan heading down the path Sterling did. The former Knicks favorite admitted that he hasn't ever met Dolan and thus would not personally know, "But there's a lot of stuff going on. When people start talking about stuff over and over and over, sooner or later, you know, wait till the truth comes out," he said.
Earlier this week, Dolan and Oakley were brought together by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver in a meeting that involved a conference call from Michael Jordan. It had been reported that Dolan extended an olive branch to Charles by lifting the ban and saying that he looks forward to the day they can sit together and enjoy a game, but Oakley came out the gate saying he still needs time to consider the invitation. Among Oakley's grievances are the accusations the Knicks organization publicly made about him, particularly one which suggested him to be an alcoholic. Oakley reiterated his unwillingness to move past the situation at this point, stating, "Somebody's gotta step up for something that happened in the old days, and is still happening in this day in age."
RadioOnFire.com - Criminal charges are pending against NFL cornerback Darrelle Revis, following a physical altercation that Pittsburgh police have confirmed involved the New York Jets star. There are conflicting reports as to how the incident unfolded and who the aggressor was, but what investigators have disclosed is that two men have had witnesses back their claim that they were assaulted by Revis, while his spokespeople contend that his actions were a matter of self-defense.
According to reports, Revis was in town to visit family and to scope out a site he is in the process of developing, when at 2:43 am an argument broke out between Revis and a 22-year-old man who had begun recording video of him. "At some point, Revis snatched the cellphone away and attempted to delete the video," a statement supplied to police reads. The veteran defenseman is then said to have tossed the phone into the street, prompting a 21-year-old witness to retrieve it. Witnesses have come forward to claim that both men would find themselves on the opposite end of Revis' punches, resulting in them allegedly being knocked out for 10 minutes.
Revis' attorney has given a different account of what happened, detailing how he says the football veteran knocked the cell phone to the ground after he was shoved by one of the men. Revis would subsequently find himself being attacked by up to 5 men, his attorney says. "He feared for his safety," his lawyer says. He is reported to have sought medical attention after the incident.
Revis has yet to be arrested, but faces a slew of charges, including robbery, making terroristic threats, conspiracy, and aggravated assault.

RadioOnFire.com - Actress Halle Berry usually plays the more reserved and private role in the public light, but recently she shed some light on her past marriages, and how she dealt with the failures of them. During a guest keynote speaker appearance she made at the 2017 City Summit and Gala in Los Angeles, Berry gave candid insight in her past relationships, saying "I have learned to deal with three failed marriages, which has not been easy, especially when there’s children involved. (As) women, we go into marriage thinking it’s going to last forever and that this is our prince on a shiny horse. That’s what fairy tales taught me as a kid… and I’m kind of anti-fairytales today.”
Berry also spoke on learning from her mistakes in a major way, saying "In every one of those situations, as hard – and sometimes embarrassing – as it was, I learned so much about myself. All of those relationships were necessary for me. We all come here with lessons that we have to learn and those relationships provided me with lessons that got me to where I am right now. For that, I’m grateful. But it has been hard. It’s been a difficult part of my life. I’ve often felt guilty and responsible. I’ve suffered a lot of pain and anguish.” The actress made a point to note that the most important thing in her life right now is being a mother to her children, and showing them how they can learn from the lessons life has to offer.
