Walmart Blames Tracy Morgan's Injuries On Him Not Wearing A Seat Belt In Deadly Crash Involving Company Truck

Walmart is claiming that Tracy Morgan and the passengers in his limo bus weren't wearing seat belts when their company big rig slammed into them. The company says the resulting injuries were caused "in whole or in part" by their "failure to properly wear an appropriate available seat belt restraint device."

Walmart made the claims in a federal court filing on Monday, September, 29, in a response to Morgan's lawsuit against them.

The comedian/actor suffered a broken nose, broken ribs and a broken leg in the June 7, 2014 crash on the New Jersey turnpike. His friend and fellow comedian James McNair was killed.

Three other passengers, Jeffrey and Krista Millea and Ardley Fuqua were also injured.

An attorney representing Morgan and the other plaintiffs called Walmart's contentions "surprising and appalling."

"It's disingenuous," attorney Benedict Morelli said. "It's not what they said they were going to do initially, which was take full responsibility. I'm very upset, not for myself but for the families I represent."

Kevin Roper was driving the Walmart big rig at the time of the wreck. The impact of the crash overturned Morgan's limo bus.

Roper was reportedly going 20 miles over the speed limit. He was charged with vehicular homicide and assault by auto. He pleaded not guilty on June 11, during an arraignment in Middlesex County Superior Court in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted on all charges.

Morgan wants a jury trial. He is seeking punitive and compensatory damages

Rich Homie Quan's Father, Corey Lamar, Shot Multiple Times During Robbery At Barbershop He Owns

Rich Homie Quan's father Corey Lamar was shot multiple times this morning at the barbershop he owns in Atlanta.

TMZ reports that gunmen or a gunman entered the establishment with the intention to rob it. At some point shots were fired, hitting Lamar four times.

Lamar, who is also his son's manager, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He underwent surgery and is expected to survive.

Quan is reportedly by his father's side as he recovers.

FBI Looking Into The Background Of Oklahoma Muslim Man, Alton Nolen, Who Beheaded Female Co-Worker After Getting Fired

OKLAHOMA CITY (Associated Press) — A man fired from an Oklahoma food processing plant beheaded a woman with a knife and was attacking another worker when he was shot and wounded by a company official, police say.

Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said his department is waiting until Alton Nolen, 30, regains consciousness to arrest him on unspecified charges. He said Nolen severed the head of 54-year-old Colleen Hufford during Thursday's attack at the Vaughn Foods plant in Moore, a suburb of Oklahoma City.

"Yes, she was beheaded," Lewis told The Associated Press.

Lewis said Nolen then stabbed Traci Johnson, 43, a number of times before Mark Vaughan, a reserve sheriff's deputy and the company's chief operating officer, shot him.

"This was not going to stop if he didn't stop it. It could have gotten a lot worse," Lewis said.

Nolen posted on Facebook under the name Jah'Keem Yisrael and declared "SHARIA LAW IS COMING!!!!" He also espoused hatred for America

Johnson and the suspect were hospitalized and in stable condition Friday, Lewis said.

According to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records, Nolen served time in prison and is on probation for assault and battery of a police officer. He also was convicted of cocaine possession with the intent to distribute in 2011.

The records show that Nolen has what appear to be religious tattoos, including one referencing Jesus and one in Arabic that means "peace be with you."

Lewis said Nolen was fired in a building that houses the company's human resources office, then immediately drove to the entrance of the business. He said he didn't know why Nolen was fired.

Walter Earl Morrison is cooling his heals inside a Phoenix, Arizona jail after being busted for theft at his job as a UPS worker.

The 20-year old was unloading cargo from a plane last week at Sky Harbor Airport when he spotted a package he thought contained cash. He stuffed the package inside his shirt. When he got home he discovered what he had stolen was actually a diamond.

According to WPTV, Morrison had no idea the stone was worth $160,000. He wound up trading it for a $20 bag of weed.

It didn't take long before he was caught. Morrison was fired by UPS and arrested. He's been charged with felony theft. His next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, in the Maricopa County Superior Court.

The super producer is not too happy with eOne Music, where he says he eleased his first four records from 2006 to 2010. The sum will be a total of a rough $1 million. Billboard says, Khaled filed a lawsuit accusing that their was a “breach of contract, accounting and unjust enrichment” against the eOne Music label. According to Khaled their was “failure to properly account and pay record and mechanical royalties.”

Attorney General Eric Holder Scheduled To Announce His Resignation Today!

The first African-American is scheduled to resign as attorney general. A Justice Department official told ABC News that “Attorney General Holder has discussed his plans personally with the president on multiple occasions in recent months,” and now things are going forward.

Holder has been the attorney general since 2009 and has held his position longer than most preceding himself.

Nick Cannon is distancing himself from the Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa divorce mess. Cannon has been mentioned in several reports as having an affair with Rose. His reps reached out to TMZ in an attempt to clear his name.
