Richard Pryor's Widow Wants Terrence Howard, Not Nick Cannon To Portray Her Late Husband In Biopic

Sorry Nick Cannon, but it looks like you might not be getting that Richard Pryor role after all.

Following Cannon's interview with TMZ when he hinted that he would be portraying the iconic comedian in the upcoming Lee Daniels-directed biopic, Jennifer Pryor is saying not so fast.

Jennifer reached out to TMZ to clarify where things currently stand in the casting department. She said Daniels is still auditioning actors for the part. If she gets her wish Terrence Howard will get the role. Her only requirement is that he lose some weight first.

Other actors being considered include Saturday Night Live's Jay Pharoah, Mike Eppsand Marlon Wayans.

Richard's children, Richard Pryor Jr. and Rain Pryor, are lobbying for Wayans to get the part.
