RadioOnFire.com - One of the most exciting playmakers in the NFL is joining the Chargers as the team announced they have agreed to terms with dynamic wide receiver/return specialist Jacoby Jones on a two-year contract. Jones ranked second in the NFL last year averaging 30.6 yards per kickoff return.
Originally a third round pick by the Texans out of unheralded Lane, Jones played five seasons for Houston from 2007-11 before joining the Baltimore Ravens from 2012-14. Blessed with tremendous speed, he’s caught 203 passes for 2,733 yards and 14 touchdowns over eight NFL seasons. Jones is a proven big play receiver capable of going the distance whenever the ball is in his hands, including special teams. A former All-Pro and Pro Bowler as a returner, he averages 27.4 yards per kickoff return and has scored five touchdowns in the regular season. He’s also excelled as a punt returner, averaging 10.1 yards per return with four regular season touchdowns.
