Donald Sterling has decided not to fight the inevitable and has surrendered control of theLos Angeles Clippers to his estranged wife Shelly.
According to TMZ, Shelly and her lawyer, Pierce O'Donnell, have been in talks with NBA lawyers and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to "resolve the dispute."
Donald made the decision to give up control of the team to Shelly because the NBA was going to force him to involuntarily sell it.
Shelly has made it clear that she is OK with selling the team, but only on her terms. If the NBA tries to interfere with the transaction she will sue.
